Bounty Hunter Movements Sound is a North West London UK based Dancehall Juggling Sound and was Formed In 1991 by two longtime Friends Dj Longas & Dj Mastermix both turned selectors in the early 1980s then started selecting from the early & Mid 1980s for Sounds Systems , Longs with Danny King Sound from South Acton , West London & Mastermix with Rebel Sound from Harlesden North West London . Mid to Late 1980s both formed their own separate Mini Sounds Longas formed a Sound called Stereo Star & Mastermix formed a Sound Cold Crush Sound a party Sound alongside one of his older brothers & a few of his school & childhood friends . By the very late 1980s both Longas & Mastermix had solo Dj careers and did shows on a couple of London Community Radio stations separately . Longas worked on CDR & then Star Radio in London & Mastermix worked on CDR , Star Radio & JBC London UK .

Both friends of Jamaican parentage regularly visited Jamaica over the years , and by the early 1990s where very impressed with Stone Love's Juggling Style of playing Music & Killimanjaros & Silver Hawks Sound Killing Style of playing Music . So in early 1991 as a result , Longas approached his friend Dj Mastermix with the idea that they should team up and form a Sound Together with Longas being the main Mic Man with his solid MC Voice & Selecting skills & Dj Mastermix the main man Selecting and Juggling the tunes due to his excellent Mixing Skills & Mc Skills . Dj Mastermix said yes but the only thing was they didn't have a name for the new Sound , after a couple of weeks of both thinking of ideas , Mastermix came up with the name Bounty Hunter the idea came to him cause his favorite Dancehall Dj Artist at the time was Ninjaman who had a Album called Bounty Hunter which Mastermix rated and felt the name would be original plus strong . The Movements part came from them jointly cause the Juggling Sound they both liked the ​most which was Stone Love so they added Movements to make The Sound name Bounty Hunter Movements and History was set in motion .

Longas & Mastermix started to promote the Sound by putting on dances & doing a Radio Show on a Radio Station called Irie Fm based in Harlesden NW10 London . The late great Trevor T was the person who received the demo tape made by Dj Mastermix , based on that demo tape he gave Bounty Hunter Movements the prime time Saturday night 10pm till Midnight slot on Irie Fm London. The Radio Show was called Dancehall Rock , it went on to become a iconic Dancehall Radio Show in North West & West London in the 1990s . In the early days when the Sound was first formed , Bounty Hunter Movements put on promotions by themselves featuring other Top UK Sounds & Selectors at the time like Asha World Movements , Nasty Love , Love Injection and more and built up a solid reputation as a good Dancehall Juggling Sound UK . Promoters Silk Promotion Father Fowl & Big D also helped put Bounty Hunter Movements on the map by putting them on a number of their Big Promotions & Dances during the 1990s & early 2000 . Dj Mad Pepper is the youngest & Third member of the Sound & is Dj Mastermix's nephew he joined the Sound in 1999 and has represented the Sound in Dances & on Radio .

Over the years Bounty Hunter Movements has played on Dances featuring Top international Sound & Selectors like Ricky Trooper [Killimanjaro] , Mighty Crown Sound [Japan] Tony Matterhorn [Jamaica] , Baby Face [King Addies] USA , David Rodigan , Sky Juice Metro Media [Jamaica] , Afrique USA , Travellers [Jamaica] , Alaska [Jamaica] , Sir Coxsone [UK] and many Top UK Sounds & Selectors . Bounty Hunter Movements also have had UK Night Club residences at Legendary London Apollo Club [North West London] , Trendz [East London] , All Nations [East London], Club La [Luton] , Stoosh [Luton] JJS Wine Bar aka Vybz Bar [North West London] plus International dates & work in [Jamaica ] Asylum Night Club New Kingston , [USA] Club Eclipse , New Jersey plus playing in Road Dances in Kingston & Clarendon Jamaica .

Bounty Hunter Movements have had Radio shows on these Radio Stations Irie Fm [London] , Beat Fm [London] , Roots Fm [London] & Currently now Worldwide on Rocsolid Radio every Saturday UK time 10pm - Midnight Audio available on https://www.rocsolidfm.co.uk/

Over the years Bounty Hunter Movements have built up a good & solid selection of Exclusive Dubplates Specials , Remixes , Records , CDs & Mp3 which they utilise with great effect in many dances when they are playing and are widely respected as one of the first & original Dancehall Jugging Sounds to come out of North West & West London .
