COA means Camping, Outdoors and Accommodation. We are an all-Australian service company that aims to establish, promote and enhance the provision and development of campgrounds (caravan parks and private camps) in Australia.

Joining COA, means campgrounds are entitled to access the COA Group Insurance Program (GIP), an all Australian $20M public liability insurance arrangement formed specifically to cover campgrounds that permit camping and related activities.

COA holds a 'master' public liability insurance policy, which notes participating campgrounds within the policy and each campground applies for and receives their own $20M policy and summary schedule.

To access the COA GIP, campgrounds must join COA and pay the membership fee. The Membership process requires the campground to be provided with an Emergency Management Plan (EMP), which includes risk management and education for the campground for its immediate and ongoing use. The EMP ensures the campground is in compliance with the minimum requirements of the relevant state and territory health and safety laws. Once the EMP has been completed and sent to . the COA Health and Safety Officer for review and approval, the campground is then forwarded the COA GIP Proposal Form to be completed and returned to COA. This means each campground member will have their own $20mill public liability insurance policy, which will specifically name it and any interests. This is not available anywhere else in Australia or by any other organisation.

The COA GIP permits campgrounds to have more than one campground on the property. Any campgrounds added mid-term via affiliation will be prorated until the renewal date. All campgrounds added during the course of the year will renew on the same date and an annual premium will be charged from this date.

Membership also includes the COA media team providing to all campgrounds, a dedicated page to COA's "in house" marketing platform. This platform provides campgrounds with their own web page, which showcases the campground and permits descriptions, photos, videos and links to take campers to the campgrounds contact details or booking page.
