DEBORAH SAMUEL BEATEN AND BURNT TO DEATH: IS BLASPHEMY A CRIME IN NIGERIA?||| 4 LESSONS TO LEARN.

On the 13th of May 2022, some students in Sokoto State College of Education beat up, stoned and set ablaze Deborah Samuel, who was also a student of the school, for allegedly blaspheming one of the prophets of islam.
This then begs the questions
1. is blasphemy a crime?
2. if it is, is it such to be punishable by death penalty?
3. Are the boys right for killing her?
4. is violence of this kind part of islam?
5. did islam authorize this?
