Few hours left before we celebrate the 6th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War.

The Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) is a document that aims to establish an international peace treaty. Since it was ravaged in the aftermath of two tragic world wars, the current state of the world may be traced back to those two sad world wars. And it is for this reason the United Nations was established: to respond to conflict atrocities and the loss of human dignity.

Many international agreements and declarations have been made since then to ensure peace. National conflicts, religious conflicts, cultural bias, and ethnic animosity, on the other hand, stymie peace efforts. These divisions made it more difficult for us to deal with current global wars. Human rights and a world free of war are the critical values at this time.
