As a business owner, one of the questions I get asked a lot is what grading company I use for Pokemon Cards? The honest answer is fairly simple...I don't.

While I have graded cards in the past, many of the Pokemon Cards that I grade tell a story and are cards that I want to preserve and protect for the long term. They aren't necessarily Pokemon Cards that I am looking to flip to earn a quick buck. Many of my Pokemon Card Investments involve the traditional business sense. I buy Pokemon Cards from a distributor and sell them to the end consumer. I do not charge above MSRP and look to make respectable margins to keep the doors open.

However, from even a traditional business mindset involving Pokemon Cards can take a ton of work. I am constantly analyzing the market, looking at trends and trying to find good deals on some cool cardboard.

With all that being said, I am extremely uneducated in the world of grading Pokemon Cards. While I understand there is a premium that is demanded on graded cards, I never really took the time to understand the market. So in this video, I wanted to analyze some high population cards to see if there is a market for grading cards that are in-demand, and if this would be something to add to our business model.
