Preparing for the "Islands of the Calerabbean" tournament, I take the Remix 8 disc set out to get used to the course. I am a big proponent in practicing, and so this is another chance to work on building in muscle memory of each of these holes since I don't get out here often. Even practicing with a new bag will give me insight into how to play the holes and may even show me different lines than if I played my regular bag.

The results: My buddy Tony and I came in second. Shout out to James and Bolan who rocked it the second round. James was driving like a boss and never took a bogey, especially with Bolan putting like a bandit!

The setup was Best throw doubles for the first round and Best score doubles for the second. Most holes had an island (basically Circle 1) you had to hit or you were in the hazard (stroke penalty). We were tied for first going in to the second round, but couldn't keep up with James' hot round.

It was hot and long, but aside from a couple of goofy shots that we both shanked, we played pretty well. Having practiced several rounds really helped me dial in my shots.
