GOC #SpearCorps visited forward locations of Dao Division along the Northern Borders in #ArunachalPradesh. The Corps Commander reviewed the security situation and operational preparedness, witnessing Special Heliborne Operations and joint training with the #IndianAirForce. He commended the professionalism of troops, appreciated their efforts to enhance combat readiness and lauded all ranks for their dedication and high morale.
The GOC #SpearCorps interacted with Course Members of the #DefenceServicesStaffCollege, Wellington, who were visiting #RangapaharMilitaryStation. The delegation, comprising officers from the #IndianArmedForces and friendly foreign nations, received a comprehensive briefing on the operational capabilities, logistics preparedness and strategic importance of the largest Corps of the #IndianArmy, fostering mutual learning and professional synergy.
#IndianArmy and #AssamRifles formations under #SpearCorps, in close coordination with #ManipurPolice, #CRPF and #BSF conducted intelligence-based joint Search operations across the hill and valley districts of #Manipur- namely, Thoubal, Tengnoupal, Kakching, Bishnupur, Imphal West and Imphal East, have resulted in apprehension of 17 active cadres, recovery of 16 weapons, illegal contraband and other war-like stores.
