As the official speaker said well, would you have imagined it only 3 or 4 years ago? Even VW, fresh from the record just obtained at Pikes Peak has scored the third best time ever since this event takes place. Both base their strength in instantaneous power and the monstrous torque that generates electric motors. Add a refined aerodynamic study and 2 very strong pilots behind the wheel. Ebbene si, la Volkswagen I.D. R Pikes Peak e la NextEV NIO P9, entrambe elettriche, sono risultate le vetture più veloci durante il giro lanciato nell'edizione 2018 del Goodwood Festival of Speed. Come ha detto bene lo speaker ufficiale della manifestazione, lo avreste immaginato anche solo 3 o 4 anni addietro? Addirittura la VW, fresca del record appena ottenuto alla Pikes Peak ha segnato il terzo miglior tempo di sempre da quando si svolge questa manifestazione. Entrambe basano la loro forza nella potenza istantantanea ed alla coppia mostruosa che generano i motori elettrici. Aggiungete un raffinato studio aerodinamico e 2 fortissimi piloti al volante. Questa la ricetta che ha sbaragliato la concorrenza dei tradizionali motori endotermici. Il futuro è più vicino di quanto pensiamo? Fatemi sapere la vostra opinione!
