The ecologiQ Innovation Showcase series gives industry and their research partners the chance to pitch ideas and products to a panel of senior Victorian Government and senior industry leaders and experts.

To move to a circular economy we must find new uses and solutions to reuse, repurpose and repair - diverting waste from landfill and using Victoria’s Big Build as a catalyst for new markets.

Aero Insulations:
Aerofill is a revolutionary recycled void filler made from EPS, cement, and an eco-friendly binder. It offers a lightweight, low-carbon alternative to traditional fillers, providing excellent load-bearing capacity, superior thermal insulation, and significant environmental benefits. Aerofill supports sustainability and innovation in construction while being cost-effective and locally produced.

Link Asia Pacific:
The KLP Sleeper/Bearer (made from 100% recycled tough polymer, stiffened with steel rebar) has a 50-year design life and is replacement for timber sleepers/bearers. With stiffness similar to that of timber, sleepers/bearers can be interspersed or fully replaced. KLP handles like timber, dampens impact and maintains a steady gauge.

Spider Tie:
Spider tie formwork made from recycled polypropylene offers benefits including easy setup, cost efficiency, and reduced labor. It ensures precise alignment, supports high-strength and lightweight cellular concrete applications, and improves insulation. Additionally, it provides enhanced fire resistance, making it ideal for bushfire-prone areas. Overall, it accelerates construction with optimal performance.
