Hawaii baseball continues nation’s longest winning streak

The University of Hawaii baseball team maintained the country’s longest winning streak on Sunday, finishing a series sweep over UC Riverside with an 11-3 win on Sunday afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium.

Hawaii improved to 32-15 overall and 15-9 in Big West Conference play, extending their winning streak to 11.

Offensively, Hawaii had 12 hits as a team, led by Jared Quandt, who went 4-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI. Meanwhile, Itsuki Takemoto got his first start of the year at designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.
