Hey there! So, after a whole year without hitting the streets with my camera, I finally got to do one of my favorite things - a dawn photowalk in Osaka. I missed this!
You know how it is when you're traveling - that urge to capture everything on video AND in photos? Yeah, it used to stress me out. So this time, I went old school with my new Nikon Z5. No fancy video features, just pure photography goodness. It's like the camera's saying, "Chill, just focus on the shots."
And what to say about the 24-200mm lens - it's a game-changer for photowalks. One minute I'm capturing the whole street, the next I'm zooming in on some random person looking at his phone in the distance. No lens-swapping dance needed!
This walk through Osaka at dawn? Pure therapy. The city's just waking up, streets are empty, and there's this crazy mix of old-school Japan vibes and modern city life everywhere you look. You've got vending machines glowing in the dim light, a massive tower piercing the sky, and tangles of power lines that somehow look poetic at this hour.
If you're into photography, love seeing cities before they put their game face on, or just dig the whole early-bird-gets-the-worm thing, come along for the ride. Maybe it'll inspire you to set that alarm clock stupid early on your next trip too.
So yeah, this is me, getting back into my most loved passion, one click at a time. Hope you enjoy this little slice of Osaka through my lens!
