Service Procedure

Vehicle: Renault Laguna 1998 – 1.9 dTi
Operation: Resetting Oil Service Interval

Tools / Equipment Required

Vehicle ignition key

No special tools required

Procedure

1. Switch on the ignition / start the engine.

2. Access service menu:

Locate the button on top of the turn signal lever.

Press the button repeatedly until the instrument cluster display shows the mileage with a spanner (wrench) icon.

3. Verify mileage display:

Ensure the mileage reading is set to “0”.

4. Reset interval:

Press and hold the reset button on the instrument cluster.

The mileage digits will begin to flash.

Continue holding until the display changes to “30,000”.

5. Complete the procedure:

Release the reset button.

Switch off the ignition.

Result

The oil service interval is successfully reset to 30,000 km.

Notes / Warnings

Ensure the reset is performed only after completing an oil and filter change.

If the reset is not completed correctly, repeat the procedure from Step 1.

Service intervals may vary depending on market specifications—always follow manufacturer maintenance recommendations.
