Bryce Canyon 100 Mile Ultra - May 18-19, 2024

This beautiful but brutal course takes place just outside of Bryce Canyon National Park in the town of Hatch, Utah. The course travels through the Dixie National Forest, up the Paunsaugunt Plateau, down a few canyons, and through various hoodoo amphitheaters that Bryce Canyon is famous for.

This was my first time doing the 100 mile distance at this event, though I have done the 50 miler twice prior. It was another epic adventure with plenty of ups and downs, with sometimes seemingly overwhelming challenges. The views make it all worth it though... usually.

Thanks to everyone at Vacation Races for creating these beautiful events, and to all the volunteers and people behind the scenes who make it all possible. I can't recommend running with these guys enough!
