In this video we focus on a proven, choice plant called Salvia 'Amistad'. It is remarkable with a very long flowering period that starts in May and continues until first frost. Rather than buy it every year I dig up the root ball, prune the branches to about 8" in length and place it in my frost free greenhouse when it remains semi dormant ready for planting in the spring.
