For ten years, we have transformed the Castle of Karlsruhe with light and imagination, building a tradition that came to embody Maxin10sity at the Schlosslichtspiele.

In 2025, we chose a different path. Instead of projecting onto the castle, we stepped away from this tradition and designed something entirely new inside the city’s Evangelical Church.

Our new work, “Stellar Sanctuary,” transforms the church into a unique audiovisual experience. Using projectors, we generate volumetric lights within the haze suspended in the air, creating luminous forms that move in harmony with the music.

This time, our focus was not on the monumental facade of the castle but on the sacred space of the church itself. By embracing the spiritual atmosphere of the venue, we aimed to offer the audience not only a new form of audiovisual exploration but also a contemplative, almost transcendental experience.
