Sharkskin Ultra SA is a self adhesive synthetic roofing underlayment. This eliminates the need for nails and caps. It does not require primer on the metal flashings.

How to install peel and stick underlayment for a roof
1. Clean the roof of all debris
2. Beginning at the lowest section of the roof, roll the peel and stick underlayment horizontally. Cover all parts of the fascia board that will be covered by trim
3. If your metal roof has a valley, it's best to run a strip of Sharkskin Ultra SA vertically along the center of the valley prior to installing the horizontal sections of roofing underlayment.
4. Remove the split back release liner and press the adhesive side into the substrate. Smooth out the roofing underlayment as you pull out the liner
5. Overlap the underlayment by four inches. Overlaps should run with the flow of water.
