Handcuffs — Treepeople | Rare 1989

Описание к видео Handcuffs — Treepeople | Rare 1989

We got another Treepeople nugget here! This time the wonderful song 'Handcuffs'. Some of you might be familiar with the later Re-recording that appeared as a bonus track for the original and certain subsequent re-releases of Guilt Regret Embarrassment. But this is the original recording that appeared on the band's first single. And similar to the band's demo tape 'No Mouth Pipetting' there's a lot of edge and angst brewing from this track. With a 20-year-old Doug belting out the song and absolutely shredding his vocals by the end. Doug and Built To Spill would bring this sound back occasionally during their 1997 tours. If you enjoyed this track and want to hear some more Treepeople rares check out the new deluxe edition of Guilt Regret and Embarrassment, which has the re recording of this song and a bunch of other great early tracks by them.

Also apologies, this is a VERY poor vinyl rip. So sorry for any crackling and all that sorts.
