Very heavy storms came through the Tucson metro area and surrounding towns, once again, this afternoon (July 23, 2017). The National Weather Service put out Flash Flood Warnings together with Areal Flood Advisories all throughout southern Arizona.

Here are some scenes from Vail and Sahuarita, AZ showing how quickly the roads and surrounding landscape fills with water and floods the roadways. A lot of main roads were closed and unaccessible.
