In the summer of 2015 when I was thirty-four, I found the guitar, my old friend, in a corner of my house. It has been for 15 years since I played the guitar for the last time, I thought. During the past 15 years, it stood in the corner silently and watched me running around. I knew that it must blame me and I really owed her too much, because the guitar has been living. The original intention of playing the classical guitar again this time was very simple: firstly, it was time to feel it; second, I had been to my middle age, I just wanted to produce simple music and make up for what I owed to the guitar at the same time.

In the winter of this year, a 17-year-old girl came into my world. It was just like fate that she and I had too many similarities and coincidences: hometown, name, character, partly appearance, understanding and loving of music, etc. So that I unconsciously regard her as a gift that the God give me, and cared and loved her just as my daughter, or sister. Because I had no daughter then, this kind of feeling made me feel more real and cherished.

She has beautiful appearance, fair skin, and liked to laugh. Her eyes were curved like crescent moon with shy face when laughing. She often wore a clean school uniform with a pair of white sneakers, and her whole body exuded a youthful atmosphere. The ponytail tied at the back of her head looked like soft and beautiful as the long neck of a swan... At that moment! I finally understood why so many works of art are themed with young girls. They are really like buds in bud, pure and flawless beauty like white jade! I was deeply attracted by the youth and energy she owned, and burst out infinite inspiration, and rekindled the extinguished fire of creation in my heart... I wrote this piece, Swan and Maiden, for her, and it is my first piece for classical guitar (composed in June 2016). The music describes her beauty and my sadness from the heart.

When I gave her the manuscript, I said, "thank you for opening the door to my guitar composition." She smiled shyly... In this way, we have maintained a simple, beautiful and frequent communication for two years. This two years was in a hurry, I watched her grow up and witnessed her maturation; she witnessed my recovery of guitar skills and the birth of my works, and made suggestions for my works as soon as possible. We encouraged each other and finally I watched her step by step enter her ideal university. I once believed that she was the daughter of my previous life! The meeting in this life is an important moment for me to witness her life. Now, the buds are in bloom! The swan's wings are full! In my comfort and uneasiness, I felt that parting is near because I knew that she doesn't belong to my world. She should fly away from my heart lake and live happily in her own sky and love with her peers. Although I did not give up, I could only bear the pain in my heart and wave my hands to say goodbye to her: "Flying to the far away, my true love!... Take good care of yourself, my family member in my past life and this life! "
