BIOGHRAPHY of Allamah Muhammad Younus Nomani Ad Deobandi (RA):
Munazir e Ahle Sunnat Shaykhul Hadeeth wa Tafseer Hazrat Moulana Muhammad Younus Nomani Rahimahullah was recognised as a prominent Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat Hanafi/Deobandi scholar in Pakistan. He was a profound Muhaddith (A specialist who profoundly knows and narrates Hadith, the chains of their narration Isnad, and the original and famous narrators) and considered an authority on various Islamic disciplines, including: Usool (hermeneutics), Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis), Aqeedah (theology), Comparative Fiqh (jurisprudence) and Hadith (Prophetic tradition), etc.
EDUCATION:
After completing his Darse Nizami curriculum at a very young age, he continued to engage in the study of the Islamic sciences to increase his experience and knowledge by studying Tafseer under the influential Moulana Ghullam Ullah Khan (AKA Shaykh Ul-Quran) Rahimahullah. Later on, he went on to study Hadeeth Under the world renowned Muhaddith, Shaykh Allama Yusuf Binnori Rahimahullah (key student of the famous Allama Anwar Shah Kashmiri Rahimahullah), and received authorizations (Ijaza's) in various books including the six major books of Hadith.
Also, amongst his teachers includes the outstanding personality of his time, the late Shaykhul-Tafseer Wal-Hadeeth Allama Qadhi Ismatullah Rahimahullah, and the honorable Qadhi Shamsuddin Rahimahullah (A former Shaykhul Hadeeth of the Great Darul Uloom of Deoband).
ORGANISATION:
Moulana Muhammad Younus Nomani Ad Deobandi Rahimahullah was an associate of Jamaat e Ishaat Ut Tawheed Wa Sunnat, also a senior member and a prominent figure.
He travelled widely, teaching and commenting on numerous classical Islamic works and lectured extensively on a range of topics including: Quranic Tafseer, Hadith, Aqeedah and Fiqh, around Pakistan, Arab world and Europe.
DEBATES AND DIALOGUES:
Allama Younus Nomani RA gained an immense popularity and recognition amongst his Jamaat for his unique and an effective style of debates and dialogues with Barelvis, Ahle Hadeeth/Salafi's/Ghair Muqalids and Shia's. On numerous occasions as always staying strongly focused on his topic, he was known for standing his ground and overpowering his opponent in a courageous manner, which led him to become victorious.
He has over fifteen debates on different topics; which can be available on DVD, YouTube and various websites.
RESEARCH:
His research specialised primarily in the field of Tafseer and Hadeeth, which included his in-depth study in the sciences of Asma Wa Rijaal (Chains of Transmitters) and Jarah Wa Tadeel (Criticism and declared acceptance of Hadith narrators).
He documented many works and was in the process of compiling them, which will be published in the near future.
STUDY COURSES:
He also specialised in delivering comprehensive intensive study courses. The programs were catered and set for Ulamah and Students of knowledge on various subjects which includes; Doura e Tafsir series, which is held during the month of Shaban and Ramadan.
TRAINING COURSES AND STUDENTS:
Furthermore, he'd managed to develop a productive syllabus for Ulama (scholars) and Tulabah (students of knowledge), which they're able to be trained extensively in the art of debating and promoting Dawah. Many recognised Ulamah from all over Pakistan, studied and obtained Ijazah's, from amongst them includes: Allamah Khizar Hayat Bhakharvi, Moulana Abdul Qudoos, Moulana Yasir Waqas and Moulana Matee Ullah Rashid.
INSTITUTE:
Allama Younus Nomani RA was the key founder and principal of Jamia Nomania Institute located, on the outskirts of Islamabad where he taught Hadeeth, Tafseer, Fiqh, etc. His family is currently residing there.
