CNE Warrior's Day Parade - Part 1 Opening Band

The CNE runs the mid August to Labour Day. It is in Toronto, Ontario, Canada's largest city.

Every year, there is a Warrior's Day Parade at the opening ceremony of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), also known as The EX! The Lincoln and Welland Regiment Associate Band set off the big event! This band is possibly one of the longest running bands in Canada. The Lincoln And Welland Regiment Band was said to have played during the War of 1812.

Every year, there is a Warrior's Day Parade at the opening ceremony of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), also known as The EX! It is usually on the FIRST SATURDAY if you want to plan ahead . This is the longest running veterans' parade in the free world. It has been part of the CNE since 1921!

In 1944 soldiers from the Lincoln and Welland Regiment, as well as the South Alberta Regiment liberated the town of Bergen op Zoom in The Netherlands. They will be travelling in the fall for the 80th anniversary.
