This video lecture is about the Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK). This modulation scheme is known as on/off keying (OOK). Block Diagram of ASK modulator has been drawn and explained. There are two types of ASK Demodulation techniques:
(1) Asynchronous ASK Demodulation (Non-coherent detection)
(2) Synchronous ASK Demodulation (Coherent detection)

Block Diagram of Asynchronous ASK Detector & Synchronous ASK Detector have also been explained in detail. Advantages, Disadvantages & Applications of ASK have also been explained.
