Welcome to the revived Dead Space 2 series: ONE GUN, ONE WAY!
6 tools/weapons have been covered already. I'll be finishing what's left of the Contact Beam run and after I'll be starting right away a new playthrough using the Rivet Gun!

The rules are simple for this challenge series:
Complete the game on ZEALOT difficulty using only the chosen tool
Before getting the tool at the end of chapter 1, you can only use Melee & Kinesis (except on two moments that you are forced to use the Plasma Cutter)
If the tool/weapon cannot pass a certain area or moment in the game, you can use a different tool just for that SPECIFIC MOMENT (for example, Ripper can't pass the stage 1 of tormentor and as well Detonator on that specific stage on any difficulty except Easy due to the damage Isaac receives while inside the blast range...)

P.S: I know Hardcore is harder because you got only 3 save files and if you die you need to reload to the last time you saved but regarding the damage taken multiplier, the Zealot Difficulty multiplier is 3 while the Hardcore is 2.25. Basically you don't die that fast...
