Found a small puddle of coolant under my F150. Turns out there is a small leak from an unexpected place. The T pipe that comes from the engine and leads back to the radiator contains an O ring on the inside of one of the radiator hoses that is susceptible to leaking after a few years.

This coolant leak appears to be fairly common in Ford 5.0 V8 engines from 2011 to 2018. Especially when cold. These engines use a quick release connector for the radiator hoses.

You can replace the whole T connector or you might get away with simply changing the O rings inside the radiator hose. In this video, I change the upper radiator hose O ring. It was a pretty simple fix and it broadened my wrenching skills.
