Can't See Your Iron Sights? Easy Red Dot Install Tutorial [GLOCK, SIG SAUER, S&W, FN, HK & More!]

In this episode, Al covers which rear sight pusher to buy, how to remove the rear sight and how to install our plate. In this demonstration, he uses a Glock slide and rear sight, but this process is applicable on almost all other pistols.

Not all rear sight pusher tools are wide enough to accommodate our adapter plates. We have found this tool has enough room to accept our mount.

The dovetails on our plates are machined with a progressive taper and are meant to be installed from the left to the right with the muzzle facing forward.

Most of our mounts are a press in fit and require a good amount of force to install them. We use a set screw as an added feature to keep the mount in place by applying an upward force on the dovetail.
