Born in 1993, Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, better known as Boakye (pronounced as Bo-a-chi) professional career began when he was 16 years old with Genoa in the Italian Serie A during the 2009/2010 season. In the 2012/2013 season, he was one of the players who helped Sassuolo FC become the Italian Serie B champions thus ensuring their promotion to the Serie A for the very first time in the club’s history.

This 186cm tall player’s career went upward since joining Red Star Belgrade (RSB) in Serbia. His team was crowned SuperLiga Champions for two seasons in a row, which was during the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020. He helped RSB win the SuperLiga by scoring 13 goals in 15 matches during the 2018/2019 season. In total, Boakye has scored 43 goals and 11 assists in 63 matches.
