I really don't have much information on this elevator. This building was built in 1972, but I think this elevator is probably newer than that (although it could just be a modernization). It's possible this replaced something else, and it's also possible this building had no elevator and added one (likely for ADA reasons).

This elevator is a bit weird. It doesn't have any glaring issues- but the starts and stops aren't very smooth, and the controller is a bit messed up. I would speculate that this wasn't installed (or modernized) very well.
