Hellebores are one of my favorite plants for my shade border. They look exotic, but don't be fooled. These plants are tough and thrive in a cold weather climate (Zones 4a-8b). They grow in partial shade to shade conditions and remain evergreen.

Most of the hellebores I grow don't create seed, but lucky for me, my hellebore 'Gold Finch' does.

In this video, I'm sharing how I plant up baby hellebore plants. Hellebores don't come true from seed because they are notorious cross pollinators. I don't mind. I'm excited to watch these plants grow.
