Kaivalya Kumar Gurav (b. 1963) is a gifted vocalist and considered the next icon of Kirana Gharana. His grandfather Pt Ganapatrao Gurav was one of the earliest disciples of Ustad Abdul Karim Khan. Kaivalya Kumar was initiated into classical music at an early age and groomed by his father Pt Sangameshwar Gurav, another noted exponent of the Kirana Gharana.

Kaivalya Kumar's ragadaari is both expressive and imaginative. "Without disturbing the essential melodic fluidity of Kirana vocalism, I try to allow the poetry and the rhythm a bigger role in the communication of the emotionality of the raga." Here he sings the majestic morning raga Bilaskhani Todi accompanied by two Ravindras and two Vijaykumars. Ravaindra Yavagal is on Tabla, Ravindra Katoti plays the harmonium. Vijaykumar Patil and Vijaykumar Desai provide tanpura and vocal accompaniment.
