Entering the HD Era | Final Fantasy XIII | 1

~ I'm thankful that the backwards compatible version of this on the Xbox One/Series has the HQ fmvs that were once only on the ps3 version. ~

It feels like the Final Fantasy fandom went kind of mute during the "HD Era" of gaming. When you hear people talk about FF it's usually the SNES or the PS1 entries--but never the ones that came out when the ps3/360 were the brand new kids on the block. Ultimately any talk I've heard that included FF13 was usually negative, stating that the game was not interesting enough and too linear (hallway sim). Well Squenix made a whole trilogy out of this particular entry so let's see what the hubbub is all about.
