During the frigid winter months, it becomes abundantly clear that thermal cover and food sources play a critical role in the overall well-being of our northern upland wildlife and ecosystems at large. After all, healthy habitat, clean water, and abundant populations of wildlife go hand-in-hand. And although habitat has no offseason, pheasant season is fleeting so why not try to squeeze every last second out of it while also taking advantage of the same ice-forming weather so many of us actively avoid?
