India has vast maritime boundary and resources. The government is working on harnessing potential of opportunities around maritime domain! Ports, ships, repair and maintenance of ships, ship breaking as well as port cities and industrialisation are all port of the big project. The issue is of investment, both domestic and international. Keeping this objective in mind government has organised marine summit on 2-4 February, 2021. The report is a curtain raiser before that summit to get a overview of the maritime sector in India.
