Hey there, Captain Wet Beard here, and welcome to a new Let's Play series: Mini Island Challenge!

In this premiere episode, I show you the first of the games that are avaiable in this series: Red Island. You'll also get familiar with the basic controls and stat priorities that will be present throughout the entire series.

Each of these islands has a theme that impacts the kinds of enemies we see as well as the aesthetic of the island. Red Island seems to be a land of perpetual sunset, which lends a really warm vibe to the entire area.
Or perhaps it's volcanic. There does seem to be a lot of glowing ash.
Either way, it's a really cool look.

(This is also my first episode where you can actually see my face as you watch me play the game. So hello! Now you have a face that you can place on my lovely voice and colorful language. ^_~)

"Mini Island Challenge" is a series of stand-alone side-scrolling shoot-em-up boss rush style action games by South Korean game developer MACKINN7. The games feature a mixture of bright colors, cute characters, brutal action, and awesome music. And I promise, they are much more challenging than they look!
