1 DAY WORKSHOP ON "ELECTRIC VEHICLES CONDUCTED AT KHELHOSHE POLYTECHNIC ATOIZU

On September 18, Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu hosted a workshop titled "Electric Vehicles: Opportunities and Challenges," led by Aishwariya Sharma from the International Institute for Energy Conservation. Sharma discussed the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs) in reducing pollution and dependence on nonrenewable energy, highlighting that charging EVs is cheaper than traditional fuels. She mentioned that government subsidies have resulted in over 1.6 million EVs sold in India and that ₹1,000 crore has been allocated for EV charging infrastructure. Despite their advantages, Sharma noted challenges like high costs due to new technology. The workshop included an interactive session, with Principal Er. Neisekho Chaya thanking Sharma and encouraging student participation.
