🍹 Long hard week finally over — vacation in southern Missouri was wild. Saw some crazy stuff down there (some of y’all probably caught the pics I posted). Got back to Cedar Rapids, unpacked, poured a Captain Morgan, and chilled on the backyard porch.

That’s when I looked up at the sky and noticed something weird: since the COVID thing started, you barely see planes anymore. And then it hit me — you never see a plane fly backwards. Ever.
They go forward, sure. Turn left, turn right, circle around… but backwards? Nope. Helicopters go backwards. Cars go backwards. Boats even go backwards. But airplanes? Never.

What’s the deal with that? I don’t know, man. It don’t make sense. If you know why planes don’t reverse, drop the explanation down in the comments and enlighten me. We should all start investigating this stuff.
