A visit and full tour of Arnolds Park Amusement Park- one of the oldest Amusement Parks in the USA, located in Arnolds Park, Iowa. It all began in 1889, when a man named Wesley Arnold opened a 60-ft tall wooden-style toboggan water slide on the shore of West Lake Okoboji. Numerous attractions followed as the park has attracted and entertained guests for over a century.

In 1930 the Giant Dips wooden roller coaster opened to the public, this is the historic Legend Roller Coaster that still thrills riders today. The Legend is currently the 13th oldest roller coaster in the United States and one of only 10 remaining roller coaters designed by John A. Miller - one of the most famous roller coaster designers in history.

I, myself, grew up in Okoboji, Iowa so I have a personal connection with Arnolds Park Amusement Park. I spent countless summers of my youth getting lost in the Tipsy House, riding the wooden rails of the Legend Roller Coaster (back seat is the best), flattening pennies on the train tracks, spinning my brain like a taffy machine on the Up-Side-Down Ferris Wheel, and being confused by The Bug House (but escaping the heat).
