Monterey 2019: The World’s Most Celebrated Modern Supercar

Turn up the volume as the remarkable 1994 McLaren F1 ‘LM-Specification’, serial no. 018, takes on the open road.
One of just two cars upgraded by McLaren to Le Mans specification, this car is equipped with the unrestricted GTR racing engine good for 680hp and features an extra high-downforce package above and beyond the coachwork effects of the original five LM cars. 018 is one of the most ferocious of the F1 iterations, finished in arguably the most desirable color combo - stunning platinum silver metallic paint over a cream leather interior with beige and brown Alcantara.

Coming to RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction on 15-17 August following 12 years of ownership, 018 has been used on a handful of tours and rallies, shows just 21,500 km, and has been fastidiously cared for by McLaren Special Operations.
