New body camera footage shows Port St. Lucie officers pulling over the man accused of pretending be a law enforcement officer while drunk and pulling over another vehicle.

According the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD), the arrest happened on January 13 after a 911 caller reported that a white Cadillac had been following them and activated flashing lights, prompting the driver to pull over near SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard and SW Aster Avenue. The caller told dispatchers the man, identified as Daniel Beyzer, claimed he was an off-duty police officer.

When officers arrived, they said they found the Cadillac positioned behind another vehicle with white strobe lights flashing inside the car.

Body camera video shows a Port St. Lucie officer approaching what appears to be confused Beyzer while he sits in his vehicle. "Huh?" Beyzer can be heard asking. Beyzer can be heard telling the officer that the car he allegedly pulled over was driving without lights and he was trying to tell them that their lights wasn't on.
