Why all fabric strips aren't actually called jelly rolls....

Описание к видео Why all fabric strips aren't actually called jelly rolls....

While most people who sew and quilt consider a 2½" wide roll of fabrics a "jelly roll" it's not actually legal for everyone to use the term!

I was recently asked why I was using the "wrong" term when I talked about 5" stackers instead of charm packs... well, it's because many of the terms for precuts that consumers think are a common term for the product are actually (and smartly!) trademarked by United Notions - the owners of Moda fabric.
