I love the idea that the future will be filled with labour saving Robots. I have the highest hopes & respect for Honda with what they have already done and are doing with their Asimo concept Robot. Here Honda Robotics have released new for 2013 an Automatic Robotic Lawn Mower.
It was on show at The gadget Show 2013 and to be frank the demonstration was poor. It seemed to zig-zag diagonally across a 'lawn' and in this video even Bumped into a stationary Milmo. It is equipped with sensors and I am frankly surprised that this happened.
Hopefully someone from Honda will explain what was going on with this 'show model'...

Milmo is a sensor-equipped lawn mower. It'll even handle slopes thanks to a gyroscope, and will follow the contours of your garden, bounded by dug-in wires, so your flower beds will be safe from the whirling blades.
Miimo goes on sale in 2013 only Europe, where spacious lawns are often enclosed in gates, targeting 4,000 unit sales a year.
The machine, which looks a bit like iRobot Corp.'s Roomba vacuum cleaner, continuously shaves about 3 millimetres (0.12 inches) off the grass, manoeuvring itself on slopes. It won't break potted plants, goes to charge itself on its own and won't wander off.
Miimo has a feature where if Miimo is picked up, it requires a user pin-code to unlock Miimo before it'll work again after being picked up.

The cheapest Miimo, the HRM300, will set you back a not insignificant £1,990, while the bigger, beefier HRM500 will burn through £2,235 of your gadget money.
(Circa 2,100 euros ($2,600) to 2,500 euros ($3,000) ).
