When you visit the beautiful city of Málaga in Spain, Andalucia, you should definitely walk through the Atarazanas food market. Even in 2021! Not only is the building itself well worth your time, but as well the mouth-watering local, seasonal treasures and the people selling them. A feast for the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. So grab a big bag and enjoy what the Málaga region has to offer. Apart from the different architectural styles, the market is very well organized. There are 3 areas: fruits and vegetables; fish; and meat. No mixing, no swapping. The stands and everything is neatly placed and decorated. Our walking tour ends at the entrance of the Atarazanas market. Many people are still wearing masks. Malaga is the largest city on the Costa del Sol in the Andalucia region of southern Spain. It's also the birthplace of Picasso and famous for its Mediterranean cuisine, local wines, rich architectural history and its sandy beach.
