Deathsmiles I & II In-Depth Review (Switch, PS4, Xbox One) | Is It Worth It? In today's video, I take an in-depth look at the latest port of my favorite horizontal shoot em' up (shmup) of all time, Deathsmiles 1, and my not so favorite horizontal shmup Deathsmiles 2 Makai no Merry Christmas in their new collection! What is particularly interesting about this port is that both companies involved with it, Zerodiv and City Connection, have had some truly awful ports in that past such as the Psikyo Shooting Stars Collection and the Cotton 2 Tribute release (which had a whopping 11 frames of input lag). So the big question this time around is were they able to do this classic CAVE bullet hell justice, is the DLC worth it? or are we looking at another hot mess of a port? How does the input lag respond and is the slowdown accurate?
