Fire, Earth, Air, Water and... Tcha Limberger. This is how this musician is known by many, as the "fifth element", as the king of gypsy music.
Tcha Limberger is a singer, violinist, guitar player and storyteller about his musical past.
Born in Belgium, in a family of musicians associated with the Jazz Manouche style, he grew up listening to Django Reinhardt's Gypsy Jazz.
Tcha Limberger became unique by sharing the heritage of his ancestors from easte, performing almost forgotten traditional songs from the Romani repertoire.
His music crosses our body and takes us to the limit of emotions, through Hungarian, Romanian, Transylvanian, Serbian and Greek songs: a voice that carries time, memory and ancestry.

It was at the 4th Django Portugal Festival that we had the opportunity to know and feel Tcha Limberger's music, with Nuno Marinho on the guitar and Miguel Falcão on double bass.
The concert, which took place at the Coimbra Music Conservatory, was a co-production of the Django Portugal Festival and the ASMUSITEC - Association of Musicians and Technicians, and took place as part of the Luthiers Mon(s)tra.
