WE GOT A QUARTER COW...EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW!

As mentioned last week, we got a quarter of a grass-fed cow from Highland Spring Farm in Oregon, WI. Here's an overview of the whole process, exactly what cuts (and weights) we got, along with pricing info. Our cow was nearly 750 pounds (hanging weight), which apparently is much larger than normal (usually a quarter cow is around 120 - 150 pounds, ours was around 185!).
