Lost in Nature Wrong Turn, Bali Hidden Waterfall

Описание к видео Lost in Nature Wrong Turn, Bali Hidden Waterfall

in todays Bali waterfalls trip travel video vlog I visit Yeh Pikat waterfall in the Gianyar Regency, Bali, Indonesia.

watch my video as I get lost in nature following plastic pipes trying to find this waterfall. what an adventure it was trying to find this waterfall.

upon arrival at the Yeh Pikat google maps location I was immediately confused as I was brought to a location in the middle of a street in a local Indonesian area with no sign of any entrance or ticket office to a waterfall. I had to ask at a local shop and they pointed me in the right direction.

The entrance to the waterfall is located on the side of the street right next to a small shop. as I started my journey down to yeh pikat it became apparent very quickly by the green slippery steps covered in debris fallen from the trees that this waterfall was not frequented by tourists.

I followed the slippery green steps and path until I arrived at a man made spring tub where there was a sign on the opposite side of the small shallow river from where I was stood saying waterfall this way 100 meters.
The sign actually said waterfall this way 100 meters turn right however the turn right part of the message on the sign I could not see.

all the way along my track down there was a number of plastic pipes that I presumed were being used to obtain water from the waterfall that I was trying to find. I followed these plastic pipes which led me through a canyon that just kept going on and on with the water getting deeper and deeper the further I walked. I must have travelled for around 500 meters through this canyon before finally reaching a decision that there was no waterfall in this direction. I turned around and headed back walking upstream fighting the current of the water until I reached a junction point where I noticed another walk through a canyon. I walked through this canyon and finally found what I was looking for Yeh Pikat Waterfall.

ADVICE TIP: DON'T FOLLOW THE PLASTIC PIPES THEY LEAD TO NOWHERE!

I was so glad to finally arrive at the waterfall and submerge myself in the refreshing fast flowing water.

epic journey to a small waterfall at the end of a canyon.
