সপ্তাহ ঘুরলেই দ্বার খুলছে অমর একুশে গ্রন্থমেলা ২০১৮। একুশ আর একাত্তরের চেতনায় ঋদ্ধ এ মেলাকে ঘিরে তাই বাংলা একাডেমি আর সোহরাওয়ার্দী উদ্যানে এগিয়ে চলছে সব ধরনের প্রস্তুতি। দাঁড়িয়ে গেছে অধিকাংশ স্টলের কাঠামো। গত বছরের চেয়ে এবার পরিধি বাড়ছে মেলার, আর তাই মানের দিকে নজর দিয়ে যথাসময়ে কাজ শেষ করার তোড়জোড় আয়োজকদের। বইপ্রেমিদের সমাগমে প্রথম দিন থেকেই জমে উঠবে এবারের মেলা আশাবাদ প্রকাশকদের।

হাতুড়ি-বাটালি আর পেরেকের ঠোকাঠুকি প্রায় শেষ। বাঁশ, কাঠ আর প্লাইউড দিয়ে চলছে কাঠামো নির্মাণের কাজ। কোথাও আবার চলছে রং, গাঁথুনি আর স্টলগুলোর নাম-ফলকের কাজ। উপলক্ষ্য ভাষার মাসের প্রথম দিনে শুরু হওয়া বাঙালি সংস্কৃতির এক অনবদ্য উৎসব অমর একুশে বইমেলার। এখন তাই বাংলা একাডেমি ও সোহরাওয়ার্দী উদ্যান মাঠে উৎসবের এই সাজ চলছে বেলা পেরিয়ে রাত অবধি।

Amir Ekushey Bannethela 2018 opened the door during the week. Equipped with the spirit of Ekus and Ekattor, surrounding the Mela, the Bangla Academy and the Suhrawardy Udyan are all going forward and preparing all the preparations. Most of the stalls have been standing. The fair is increasing in the last year than last year, and therefore the organizers of the competition to finish the work in due course of attention. Promoters of this year's fair will get accustomed from the first day of book fair.

Hammer-chips and nail clips are almost finished. Construction of structures with bamboo, timber and plywood is done. The work of colors, masonry and stalls is going on again somewhere. Amar Ekushey Book Fair is an important festival of Bangali culture which started on the first day of the month of the occasion. Now this festival festival is going on in Bangla Academy and Suhrawardy Udyan grounds till the night.
