The tube of paint protruding from the white wall, bent downward and continuously “expelling” color onto the white canvases moving along the conveyor belt, can be read as a phallic figure — a source of fertility, creative energy, an act of insemination. In this view, the tube is no longer a neutral tool but becomes the initiator of the creative process, a generator of new images and new visual matter.

Combined with the automatic movement of the conveyor belt, it creates a metaphor for the mechanical reproduction of art, where the act of creation loses the aura of an individual gesture and becomes a biological–mechanical cycle. The paint — color, life, energy — flows like semen onto the clean, “virginal” canvases that passively receive the trace.

This constellation brings together three layers:

Psychic automatisms (Surrealism): creation as a spontaneous discharge of uncontrolled energy.

The biological act of fertilization: color as a fluid carrying the potential for form and image.

The industrial rhythm of the machine: art being born in an automatic, impersonal cycle of production.

As a result, we get an image of the contemporary artist as someone who merely initiates the mechanism, while the artwork “creates itself,” generated through the interplay of body, technology, and the unstoppable power of color.
