This is a ride behind Type 1 locomotive D9526 on the uphill part of the West Somerset Railway from Watchet to Crowcombe Heathfield. Taken on 09/06/23 during the summer diesel gala on load 3 with a van on the front for good measure.The locomotive is on full power most of the way and Deltic 55009 is waiting for the road at Crowcombe Heathfield.
