I didn't take my serious camera to Lundy, which is why all of the photos in this selection were taken with either my 5 years old phone or budget action cam, so please don't expect much (or anything, really) in the way of artistry, compositional skill or quality. The snaps were taken pretty randomly to give a flavour of what to expect if you visit or stay on Lundy.
The small pile of corroding metal shown somewhere near the halfway mark are all that remains of one of two Luftwaffe Heinkel Bombers that crashed on the island during WW2. I believe both aircrews survived.
The larger vessel anchored in the bay is a 'small' cruise ship that had detoured to avoid a storm at sea. She disgorged her passengers to browse the island for a few hours. We were staying at the lighthouse (there are 3 on the island) cottage for several days and some of the passengers thought one of my sisters-in-law was the lighthouse keeper!
We thoroughly enjoyed our three days on the island and hope to return if the opportunity arises.
