A Cat of Nine Tales, Episode 4: Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns

Selina Kyle’s feature-length debut introduces us to a mousy secretary who transforms into the vengeful Catwoman. She goes through most of her nine lives as she teams up with the Penguin, romances Bruce Wayne, and finally avenges her own murder. In a series where women are usually damsels, it is refreshing to see what Selina can do to get back at those who put her in distress.
